Survivor / Founder of the organization. During my ordeal with breast cancer I lost my job, then the bills started pouring in. I was lucky and had insurance through my husbands work, a caring church, and family who helped me and my family out during my ordeal. After my last treatment (January 2007) I decided that there was a need for an organization that helped cancer patients out during their struggle with cancer on the financial side of the disease. That is when I began Cancer Debt Relief.
